This book, which was once a class project, is now a bilingual coloring book made for children between the ages 7-12. This book follows the story of Ezekiel, a first generation teen whose family came to the US from the Dominican Republic. When his parents tell him that they are taking him on a surprise trip to the DR he is not so thrilled about it. Through exploration and wonder Ezekiel learns to fall in love with the land his parents came from. Though he is lost to the world beyond his bedroom and life in America, eventually he is found among the trees and the rich soil of the Dominican Republic.
